"3 Sport and their mission is right up my alley. I love coaching younger guys the insides of playing baseball and watching them improve as they get older. I’ve coached many great players over the years, but I’ve had also had many that didn’t come into our programs as “sound” fundamentally as we wanted. I know our target at 3 Sport is the younger generations but if a high school player or even a high school/youth coach would pick up on some of our ideas, it could really help them advance. I’m so pumped to be a part of 3 Sport…..let’s get to work."

Coach Tommy Myers has paved the way for championships at the two programs he has held the title of head coach. Conference, Regional, and even a National championship have followed him to the programs he has touched.

Everyone that comes into baseball contact with Coach Myers usually comes away thinking, “that guy knows baseball.”

Tommy enjoyed a decorated 7-year head coaching stint at the University of Central Missouri where he compiled a gaudy 311-91 record. Within those seasons were a cluster of conference, tournament, and regional titles including six NCAA appearances in 7 years. Three of those seasons finished at the NCAA Div. II World Series.

Coach Myers last college head coaching gig was at his alma mater Pittsburg State. He led the Gorillas to a 56-48 record in a re-tooling effort. That include the program’s first appearance in the NCAA Div. II National tournament since 2002.

At the conclusion of his time at Pitt State, Coach made the honorable decision to spend more time outside of college coaching and coaching the kids at home. Since, Tommy has been veraciously active in coaching youth baseball. All the teams he associates with have immediate success with their attention to detail. That attention is now a huge asset to 3 Sport and their effort to specialize in the fundamentals of baseball.
